About Sidharth

Sid was born in Sydney to Indian parents. He lives in Sydney in his own home.

Writing in prose and poetry are his passion. “If It were left to me” he says ‘I would have written several books”. It is not always unto him as he has to write by typing on a keyboard overcoming the challenges of dyspraxia and attentional issues.

He enjoys music and vigorous physical activity like working out in a gym, bushwalking, swimming and skating. He has a natural aptitude for mathematics and poetry and also loves to read history. Sid enjoys the company of friends, eating out and going away on long road journeys to visit places of interest and to hang out with friends.

AN

UNSPOKEN STORY

“I want everyone to know that I am a thinking, feeling man, I do not speak. I am aware that I act in ways that others see as ‘weird’ as though I had ‘no sense.’

This is because my mind and body differently and not always in congruence with each other. I can express myself through typing. I would like people in ‘Planet Normal’ to know what people with Complex Communication Need (non-speakers) experience.”

Sidharth writes from the perspective of a man who, in his own words, is ‘cocooned in autism.’
